ECU freshman Michael Hinson and a group friends started their own relief drive after Hurricane Florence, collecting nearly 40,000 pounds of goods for those affected.
The Office of National Security and Industry Initiatives will support the mission of the Division of Research, Economic Development and Engagement to actively grow the university's research enterprise.
As one of 31 selected nationwide, Dr. Crystal Chambers will evaluate the postsecondary education choices of students from geographically rural areas in the United States.

Dr. Crystal Chambers, an associate professor in the College of Education and vice chair of ECU Faculty Senate, has received a 2018 Andrew Carnegie Fellowship and will study how students from rural areas across the U.S. make decisions about college. 🎓
